Snark aside…

…I do try to identify cover artists using online resources as best as I can, but I do make mistakes occasionally. I welcome it when my mistakes are caught, because I think crediting the creative people behind the covers I post is the right thing to do.

As always, thanks for following.

You can tell those covers are by Flint Henry and not Steve Pugh in the same way you could tell a cover was by, say, George Perez and not Howard Chaykin: their styles are hugely different. The art of the one artist does not look like the art of the other artist, The difference is not subtle. (from Anonymous)

Really?

You’re saying that different artists have differing and distinctive styles, and you can tell one artist from another by identifying them by their individual styles? That’s amazing! Having posted thousands of comic book covers over several years, you’d think I would have noticed something like that.

Thanks for that brand new information, Anonymous!

FYI -Check the facts.: GrimJack covers were done by Flint Henry NOT Steve Pugh. (from ashamal)

I usually source credits from the GCD  (grand comics database) at www.comic.org,  which lists Steve Pugh as the cover artist for Grimjack #66-69.  However, comicbookdb.com does list Flint Henry as the cover artist for those issues.

Although I do own them, I don’t have either the physical or digital copies of those issues at hand or easily accessible. Can anybody confirm either Steve Pugh or Flint Henry as the cover artist for those issues?
